Nowadays, government entities are willing to adopt new technologies to save money. Ever since these sectors have seen virtualization
and cloud computing as a feasible technology option today, most of them plan on implementing these technologies in the next 12 months.
However, significant concerns currently exist around cloud computing and virtualization. Security, privacy, reliability, and compliance
are the top concerns. Many government clients also worry about legacy compatibility: it is often not straightforward to move existing
applications to the cloud.
While many of the concern issues can be addressed by cloud today, concerns remain and are prompting IT leaders to explore the cloud as
a way of achieving its benefits. The government sector sees the benefits of cloud to reduce upfront costs and helps the company be more
flexible, focus on its core business and react more quickly to market conditions and competition.
Government clients have unique goals and requirements for cloud that need to be addressed with a long-term strategy that provides strong
security, technology, process, and organizational governance. Through events and series of workshops with live Proof-of-Concept (POC) about
virtualization and cloud, AMTI, in partnership with Dell, fulfills to its commitment of being an ICT infrastructure expert and in delivering
end-to-end ICT solutions and services. AMTI and Dell are both committed to the cloud vision and has the experience to help IT leaders on the
journey. Join AMTI and Dell as we venture on the journey to bring innovation from the cloud.
