  • June 8-10, 2010 : Goal-Setting & Team Building Workshop for Marketing and B.I.G Department

    Ayala Greenfield Estates July 8-9, 2010


    Dubbed as the "Game-Changers", the Marketing and Business Development Group (BDG) Department of AMTI held its 1st team building at Ayala Greenfield Estates last July 8-9, 2010. Initiated by the President, himself, Mr. Allyxon Cua, with the help of Mr. Marzo Monserrate, FVP for Sales and Marketing, and the Human Resources Department, the team building focused on the S-M-A-R-T (Specific-Measurable-Attainable-Realistic-Time Limit) Goal Setting. A Goal-Setting Workshop was imparted as a highlight to the event.

    March 23, 2011 : AMTI Sales Team Bonding

    The AMTI Sales Team-Bonding

    Last March 23, 2011, the 1st AMTI Team Bonding was held at Unplugged Studio in Mandaluyong City to collaborate all salespersons and give them a chance to bond with each other. AMTI had this one-of-a-kind experience to provide an avenue of interactive team exercises and group discussions among the participants. It even paved way for all of them to get to know each other through the simplest and most basic information about their co-employees-one that is very vital for the organization’s success.



    There were four (4) activities successfully carried out in this bonding event. These were the Cheering Competition; ’Videoke Twist and Shout’, a game that made every participant sing; '''I Want to Know You!''' slum book activity; and Master of Videoke challenge. A photo shoot session personally directed by Mr. Marzo Monserrate, SVP-GM for Enterprise System Sales & Marketing, added to the activities just before the day ended.

    The team bonding had successfully met the company’s objective in aiming a collaborative goal despite of the limited time, according to the sales.

    October 29, 2010 : AMG Celebrates in One with the United Nations

    AMG Celebrates in One with the United Nations

    “Come young citizens of the world, we are one... we are ONE!”

    Last October 29, 2010, the Accent Micro Group (AMG) joined in the worldwide celebration of the United Nation’s Day, commemorating its establishment in 1948.

    All over the world, UN country teams, government, international organizations, civil society, private sectors, media, students, and the entire public celebrate this day (originally October 24). AMG is in one with the entire nation as they celebrate UN Day with the theme “The Future in Our Hands” seeking to address the trials and tribulations faced by today’s youth and is aimed at shedding light on the veiled and uncertain future that awaits the young people of the twenty-first century.


    The event was celebrated with all the employees of AMG including their children. The kids were all in their best attires showcasing the different national costumes of the 15 member-countries of the United Nations. There were also some parent-employees who came in alike with their kids; portraying the country they best represent.

    The UN Day celebration started with a photo op session for all the participants. Each got their own printed copy of their best-captured moments. Ms. Tina Mendoza, AMTI-HR Manager, welcomed the participants and signaled the beginning of the program. Exciting activities thrilled the kids like art contest; film showing; talent show and Question and Answer portion; games; and a free ice scramble for everyone. As such, a program for all the employees was also part of the whole-day celebration by wearing playful and creative costumes of each department characterizing a nation of their choice.

    To make the UN Day celebration more exciting and unique, a fun twist was added to the event–a parade of children with their parents roamed around the AMG offices to get their treats for the day.

    Jullian Mark Beltran, son of Ms. Arlene Beltran of AMTI-Shipping, and Angel Ulyhzia Olarte, daughter of Ms. Kathy Lea Olarte from AMTI-Admin, won the Little Mr. And Ms. UN 2010. Meanwhile, for the employees’ program, the AMPI Credit and Collection Department in Filipinianas bagged the “Best in Costume” award among all the departments; IronFort, Inc. in American Indians won the 1st runner-up.

    AMG recognizes that as one global community, everyone should live in harmony and therefore, respect the rights and dignity of one another. This annual celebration is the best time to help children learn more about the history of UN and its importance.

    The UN Day celebration was attended by at least 62 kids from AMTI and AMPI.

    What an unforgettable experience! That was all I can say when the Accensia Team Building ended. Being a newbie in my first job in such a continous growing company like AMTI, I admit I had lots of fears in my mind - fears that I think I couldn't go farther from where I have started and fear that I might not be really deserving to the position that was given to me.

    I do believe that it was normal and I don't want to let that fears overcome the things I need to do for the company and also for myself. But there's one big problem - I don't know how to start. Glad there was the ACCENSIA T.I.M. Team Building settled, everyone in the department and a newbie like me somehow be binded as one, not to work but to enjoy and spend time together.

    The said event really changed my perceptions in work. Fears at first become a challenge for me now. It is a challenge that is more challenging and fulfilling when I achieve every single task because I have all the people guiding and helping me all the way. Because of that it really helped to uplift those perceptions that I can also do other things for the improvement of the comapny and for the department itself.

    The theme of the said event is really connected to everyone's goal - and that goal is to achieve the number "ONE". We were all given the chance to construct a much stronger family and relationship regardless of background and position, to build a team spirit amongst the TIM family and show respect and concern for the group. And because of that, I now believe that our goal was not the end, it was just the beginning.

    AMTI Conducts Intensive Technical training for Aspiring IT Specialists

    Ayala Greenfield Estates July 8-9, 2010

    The intensive technical training is a 5-week long program of the Human Resources Department and Accensia, the Service Division of AMTI, for aspiring individuals in Technical Support and IT-related Helpdesk careers.

    All technical trainees undergo a streamlined technical support training process that covers various aspects of providing services and enhances their skills at providing technical support.

    Technical specialists are trained to work on both hardware and software. These individuals may assist end users in solving computer problems. The ability to research and solve problem with the computer user whether in person, by phone, or via the internet is an important skill as an IT specialist and to the company.

    The training ensures that technical trainees are adept at troubleshooting and handling all queries on Desktop, Internet, Server and Networking Domains. The training also provides the necessary foundation skills for those who wish to move on to a more advanced qualification in the field of IT.

    AMTI's collective vision, knowledge, and skill sets have a wider impact than any technology. AMTI values education because it puts one's potentials to maximum use and as technology constantly evolves, AMTI is able to adapt to this era while preparing its employees to their maximum performance.   • 100 Technical Support Specialist
    Responsibilities:

    To work with the Desk Side Support Group of the Help Desk Team
    Performing technical troubleshooting, maintenance, and setup of hardware
    Provide second-level problem determination on problems reported by end-users
    Assist end-users in resolving the problem by guiding end-users on possible solutions
    Updates, tracks, and closes problems under his/her tower
    Researching trends and patterns in the problems users ask about.

    Requirements:

    Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent with good scholastic records
    Required language(s): English, Filipino
    With at least 6 months - 1 year hands-on technical support experience from an IT Service industry (preferable).
    Ability to impart technical knowledge to end-user.
    Possess excellent customer relations and negotiation skills.
    Willing to render occasional overtime work/work on weekends.
    Strong analytical and excellent communication skills

    Responsibilities:

AMTI Extends Help to Typhoon Sendong Victims


Typhoon Sendong triggered massive flash floods last December 16, 2011. This led to more than 1000 casualties in Mindanao, specifically in Iligan City and Cagayan de Oro. The typhoon also hit some parts of Visayas and Palawan.

AMTI stepped up to help those who were greatly affected by this calamity. AMTI worked together with Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and ABS-CBN Sagip Kapamilya, encouraging all employees to share their blessings and donate basic necessities for the families who are staying in evacuation centers in Iligan City and Cagayan de Oro.

In a matter of eight days, AMTI was able to collect boxes of clothes and monetary donations from the employees and their concerned families. The donation boxes were picked up by DSWD relief operations team and was delivered to ABS-CBN to directly hand the items to the victims in Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City.

AMTI is very thankful to everyone who supported this endeavor, from the employees and their families who have donated (cash and/or in kind) and made this possible.
